Red vein treatment

Treat spider veins and patches of red thread veins with IPL (intense pulsed light) or Nd:YAG laser therapy.

In this non-invasive procedure, your laser therapist will apply a gel to your skin and then expose the target area to an IPL device which emits carefully measured pulses of intense light energy. Alternatively, we also use the Nd:YAG laser which gently directs laser heat into unwanted veins.

This painless process causes the small unsightly veins to dry up and disappear from inside your body. Depending on the size and tenacity of the treatment area, you may need anywhere from one to five treatment sessions of about 30 minutes each.

There is no need for a ‘recovery period’ aftertreatment for red veins, so you can carry on with your normal daily activities following each treatment session.

Laser hair removal

Get rid of unwanted hair with one of our special laser hair removal packages.

Laser treatment can cause hair growth to slow down and, in some cases, to cease growing after multiple treatments. You will be able to say ‘goodbye’ to painful waxing and epilation treatments once you have switched to laser hair removal.

Although lasers work well for preventing hair growth on various shades of skin tone, visit us for an in-person consultation to find out whether lasering could work for you.

Laser for treatment of pigmentation

Banish blemishes with one of our special laser pigmentation treatment packages.

IPL technology can also be used to treat unwanted pigmentation.

Hyperpigmentation can result in uneven colour tones across your face and can be the result of factors such as:

  • Hormone changes
  • Sun damage
  • Drug or medication use
  • Infections
  • Injury
  • Age
  • Melasma

You should not feel ashamed of your appearance if it does not bother you, and hyperpigmentation is not a dangerous condition, from a medical standpoint. It is merely an aesthetic concern, but hyperpigmentation can be treated in a safe medical procedure here at Lotus Clinic if you do wish to reverse the discolouration.

For the love of god, give this woman (Mandy) a medal! I went in for the pixel laser treatment. She was very thorough, attentive and patient. The result I got after 1 week though....it’s life changing. It can be the machine but the technician can also have a huge effect. I can’t wait to have my second session. This woman has given me more confidence in life. Thank you.

Pixel laser skin resurfacing

This rejuvenating treatment accomplishes two tasks at the same time: it blasts away old surface skin cells and stimulates the production of new skin cells.

You may need to schedule two to four treatments with an interval of four weeks between sessions to treat an area thoroughly.

Pixel laser skin resurfacing can help smooth areas that are roughened by scars or wrinkles or that have been affected by pigmentation or a loss of skin elasticity. Some tingling and swelling are normal within the first couple of days after treatment, and peeling skin is a positive sign that your treatment has successfully triggered the production of fresh skin cells.

Prices starting at £120 per face treatment and £150 per body treatment (depending on size of scars/stretch marks).

Laser treatment for acne and acne scars

The IPL laser can help initiate an enhanced healing response by stimulating increased collagen production in your skin.

This can reduce active acne lesions and improve superficial acne scarring.

Laser pixel resurfacing can also be used in conjunction with topical medications and chemical treatments to smooth skin that has been roughened by acne scarring.
