Dr Michael Frankl

The Lotus Clinic is led by Dr Michael Frankl who founded the practice in 1998. Dr Frankl qualified at The University of London in 1993, has a degree from the Royal College of Surgeons and is also a member of the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He has developed particular expertise in dental implants and cosmetic dentistry, CEREC (ceramic reconstruction) and laser dentistry. Dr Frankl has brought together an aesthetic medicine team comprising leading practitioners in each particular treatment.
Dr Riz Syed
Special interest in Dental Implants
Dr Riz Syed qualified in 1999 at the Royal London Hospital after which he worked in the oral maxillofacial surgical department, then in numerous specialist surgical practices for a number of years.
He has successfully completed extensive postgraduate studies in both implant and restorative dentistry and completed a Master’s certificate from University of California Los Angeles (UCLA). He has trained extensively in both America and Europe in advanced soft and hard tissue management and has recently completed an advanced training course in oral plastic surgery in Dallas, Texas.
Having established two large referral surgeries he has been awarded the clinic of excellence in implant dentistry. His practice includes sinus grafting, surgical crown lengthening and hard and soft tissue grafting.
Dr. Syed lectures both nationally and internationally on all aspects of implant dentistry including hard and soft tissue management. He is also a visiting surgeon to numerous surgeries across London. As a mentor for Nobel Biocare, he has helped to train many implant surgeons across the UK and is regularly consulted for treatment planning complex cases. He is a member of the, Association of Dental Implantology (ADI), International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine
Dr Guy Sharon
Special interest in Dental Implants
Dr Guy Sharon graduated from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel class of 2002. He worked for three years in two major hospitals in their Maxillofacial Surgery departments until 2003 when he began working as an oral surgery practitioner and implant surgeon. Dr Sharon takes great pride in his implant treatments and his calming manner has made him extremely popular with our clients. Dr Sharon also offers minor surgical procedures such as apicectomies and wisdom tooth removal.
Larsa is our highly experienced dental hygienist from Denmark. Following graduation she worked as a dental hygiene teacher at the University in Aarhus, Denmark, teaching hygiene students theory and practice. Since moving to the UK she has worked in several private specialist London practices.
As a professional dental hygienist she provides great dental care, preventing and treating gum disease, cleaning and polishing teeth and instructing patients in good oral hygiene routines. Larsa also provides whitening treatment. Larsa speaks fluent English, Danish and Assyrian.
Jessica is highly experienced in the treatment of all gum conditions, care maintenance and all aspects of preventive dentistry. She has a friendly sympathetic approach and the ability to put anxious patients at their ease.
Maya is a highly skilled, qualified dental nurse with many years experience in the private dentistry field. She has a wide range of dental knowledge and is experienced in assisting a range of dental treatments including general, cosmetic and surgical procedures. Working beside our principal dentist Dr Frankl, her thorough attention to detail and caring approach make her an essential part of the clinic and our team.
Dayna qualified as a Dental Nurse in 2012. After working in both NHS and private dental practices in as a Dental Nurse, she gradually moved towards front desk and admin work but remained firmly interested in the dentistry field. Following the completion of her marketing qualification in 2016, Dayna joined Lotus Clinic as our front of house receptionist and admin support. Her dental experience allows her to liase between patients and clinicians informatively, to ensure the smooth running of patient appointments and finances.
